Netcare Forensic Center is part of Netcare Access, a 501(c)3 organization based in Columbus.
They have provided court-ordered criminal forensic evaluations in the Central Ohio region for approximately 50 years. Their catchment area consists of Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Hocking, Jackson, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, Ross, and Union Counties. Their examiners are experts in conducting evaluations of competency to stand trial, mental condition at the time of the alleged offense (i.e., sanity), post-NGRI needs, and readiness for conditional release. They also complete assessments for Intervention in Lieu of Conviction, juvenile competency, bindovers, reverse bindovers, conditional release updates, and general psychological evaluations. In addition to assessments, they offer consultation, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship program approved for the American Board of Forensic Psychology experience waiver. Several of their full-time and contingent (hourly) evaluators are board certified by the American Board of Forensic Psychology.
Director: Dr. Meredith Veltri, Ph.D., ABPP (board certified in forensic psychology) is the Director of Forensic and Specialized Assessment Services. The Assistant Director of Forensic Services is Dr. Shannon Porter, Psy.D., ABPP.
